Polishing wheels are the central wear part in the polishing unit of edge banding machines. They perform the final step in machine edge processing: after milling and scraping the edge, the rotating polishing wheel smooths fine surface marks and produces an even, lightly glossy edge finish - a crucial quality factor, especially for PVC and ABS edging.

Construction and design

Our polishing wheels are made from multi-layer textile fabric, folded and formed into a compact wheel geometry. The folded design ensures even pressure distribution across the full working width and enables a gentle, effective polishing action without material removal. The polishing wheel in the range has an outside diameter of 150 mm, a width of 11 mm and a bore of 30 mm - a standard size widely used in edge banding technology.
