The Schmalz block vacuum cup VCBL-N 125x75x97mm 30/40 TV is the taller version of the large-area VCBL-N series for nesting table and grid table machines — with a wide support surface of 125 × 75 mm, suction cup height 97 mm, vacuum channel connection 30/40 and integrated touch valve (TV).

With 97 mm suction cup height, this block vacuum cup bridges large distances between the grid table and the underside of the workpiece — more than the 52mm mid-height version, more compact than the 132mm maximum version. Ideal for thick panels and workpieces with deep profiling, where the wide 125×75mm support surface provides maximum holding force while requiring more height than the mid-height version.

When is the 125x75x97mm version the right choice?

  • Thick panels with broad support: When the 52mm mid-height version is no longer sufficient, but the maximum 132mm height is not required — the 97mm version fills this gap with the full 125×75mm support surface
  • Workpieces with deep milling grooves or profiling: Increased distance to the machining surface with broad support for secure holding force
  • Solid wood and heavy composite panels: The large support surface combined with 97mm height offers the ideal balance between holding force and overall height

Schmalz Vacuum Technology for Nesting Table Systems

As a leading manufacturer in the field of clamping technology, Schmalz has developed a wide range of block vacuum cups specially for machines with nesting tables. These vacuum cups are designed for CNC machining centres with nesting and grid tables. Suitable for simple 3-axis machining as well as complex 5-axis machining thanks to a broad range of working heights from 32 to 132 mm. 

Use on grid tables

Vacuum blocks of the VCBL-N and VCBL-G-K1 series have also been specially developed for use on grid tables. For this, the friction clip must be removed. It can then be used for all common grid geometries (grid spacing 30 and 40 mm, groove widths 6 to 7.5 mm, groove depths 6 to 7 mm).
