The Schmalz Blocksauger VCBL-N 130x30x97mm 30/40 TV is the tall, narrow-format variant of the VCBL-N series for nesting table and grid table machines — with the slim geometry 130 × 30 mm, suction cup height 97 mm, vacuum channel connection 30/40 and integrated touch valve (TV).

The combination of extremely slim design (30 mm width) and high suction cup height (97 mm) makes this block suction cup a specialist solution for tight grid positions with thick workpieces or deep profiling — where a narrower footprint is required, but more height than the 52mm mid-height variant is needed, without having to use the maximum 132 mm.

When is the 130x30x97mm version the right choice?

  • Tight grid positions with thick boards: When the slim 30 mm width is essential and more height than the 52mm mid-height variant is also required — the 97mm version fills this gap

Schmalz Vacuum Technology for Nesting Table Systems

As a leading manufacturer in the field of clamping technology, Schmalz has developed a wide range of block vacuum cups specially for machines with nesting tables. These vacuum cups are designed for CNC machining centres with nesting and grid tables. Suitable for simple 3-axis machining as well as complex 5-axis machining thanks to a broad range of working heights from 32 to 132 mm. 

Use on grid tables

Vacuum blocks of the VCBL-N and VCBL-G-K1 series have also been specially developed for use on grid tables. For this, the friction clip must be removed. It can then be used for all common grid geometries (grid spacing 30 and 40 mm, groove widths 6 to 7.5 mm, groove depths 6 to 7 mm).
