Leitz HW-HeliCut copying cutter head mounted on a milling arbor for copying, groove cutting and rebate cutting

Application:
For pre-milling, jointing and copying at large cutting depths, along and across the grain. For copying curved workpieces with template, ball bearing and guide ring, as well as for use on CNC-controlled router machines, e.g. timber construction systems and window manufacturing systems.

Workpiece material:
softwood and hardwood, glued wood and laminated wood.

Technical information:
Low-noise design with offset cutting edges. Can be mounted on a clamping arbor. Also suitable for rebate operations. The same knives are used as peripheral cutting edges and scoring cutters. The cutting bevels of the HW knives are numbered. No clamping jaws, direct tangential knife clamping, making knife changes straightforward without additional mounting aids. Supplied as standard with HW reversible knives ID 009549 mounted.
